DAY 1 : TANA
Up on arrival in Tana at Ivato International Airport then transfer immediately to your hotel for an overnight


DAY 2 : TANA – MANTASOA

Leaving Tana to Mantasoa after breakfast. The first few ks is bustling and dominated by the traffic. Then we ride through rice fields where undulating roads occur. After a picnic lunch, back to our saddle for another 50 ks till our hotel in Mantasoa. There are more uphills and downhills before we reach the last 20 ks off-road. This off-road is dominated again by uphills and downhills where we appreciate the rice fields and lake view of Mantasoa Lake. Night in a hotel


DAY 3 : MANTASOA – ANDASIBE

This day we’re heading for Andasibe in the east of the Island. The Andasibe – Mantadia NP (better known as Périnet) is home to the biggest of all lemurs, the Indri indri. That evening a walk is planned to give you the opportunity to see night active animals. There is a good chance to see mouse lemurs, chameleons, geckos and tree frogs. Night in a hotel

DAY 4 : ANDASIBE – MANAMBATO
Leaving early in the morning to the park on our bike, an English speaking professional local guide leads you through the park. You will surely see the Indri Indri and there’s also a good chance to spot bamboo lemurs, brown lemurs and the biggest of all chameleons: the Parson’s chameleon. Then we kick our way to Manambato by car as the journey is a bit long. Before we reach the town of Brickaville, back on our saddle to finish our day through sandy off-road until our hotel we stay a night next to large sandbar by Rasoabe Lake. Night in a hotel


DAY 5 : MANAMBATO – TAMATAVE
We leave Manambato to Tamatave. So we take back our sandy off-road to join the National Road 2 until Tamatave. The landscape is dominated by greenery view as we pass by bamboo trees, Jack trees, Bread trees, etc. From here, the road is getting flatter and flatter as we go towards Tamatave which is going to reach sea level. Tamatave is the second economic capital of Madagascar after Tana and before Antsirabe. Although Tamatave is a melting pot, Betsimisaraka tribe remains dominant in this bustling town that has the biggest port in the Island. Night in a hotel


DAY 6 : TAMATAVE – FOULPOINTE

Leaving Tamatave to Foulpointe. Foulpointe is a nice resort for Malagasy holiday makers. Every weekend, people from Tamatave and even from Tana come to Foulpointe for a break. Not so far from Tamatave, it’s attainable by scooter and even bike. Protected by coral reefs, it’s safe to swim. This bustling sea resort is appreciated by locals where a lot of people provide paid service like hairs plaiting, facial masking, etc. Night in a hotel

DAY 7 : FOULEPOINTE – MAHAMBO – SAINTE MARIE ISLAND
Leaving early Foulpointe to Mahambo to catch the boat to Sainte Marie. This is an easy ride after a relaxing afternoon in Foulpointe. The transfer takes 3 hour with a well-geared boat called El Condor. Up on arrival in Sainte Marie Island, we ride to our hotel for 3 nights. Night in a hotel


DAY 8 : SAINTE MARIE
After sturdy breakfast, back to our saddle for our last bike tour around the small Island. Sainte Marie Island, a small paradise of beach and a good place to see the hump-backed whales. Note that Sainte Marie is a relaxing place, day at leisure, but as well as where a great of activities can be arranged from your hotel


DAY 9 : SAINTE MARIE
This is an optional day, choice between relaxation and activities like snorkelling, scuba-diving, whale watching (from June to September). Visit of pirate graveyard and Queen Betty Residency. Night in a hotel


DAY 10: SAINTE MARIE-ANTANANARIVO
Take a flight back to Tana and eventually International according to your choice. Night in hotel
