DAY 1 : ARRIVAL ANTANANARIVO
Up on arrival in Tana, we pick you up at the Ivato airport and bring you to your hotel down town. Night in a hotel


DAY 2 : TANA – ANDASIBE (EAST)
After an overnight in Tana and a sturdy breakfast you leave in our 4 wheel drive on a 3 to 4 hour trip to Andasibe in the east of the Island. The Andasibe – Mantadia NP (better known as Périnet) is home to the biggest of all lemurs, the Indri indri. That evening a walk is planned to give you the opportunity to see night active animals. There is a good chance to see mouse lemurs, chameleons, geckos and tree frogs. Night in a hotel


DAY 3 : ANDASIBE
An English speaking professional guide leads you through the park all morning. You will surely see the Indri Indri and there’s also a good chance to spot bamboo lemurs, brown lemurs and the biggest of all chameleons: the Parson’s chameleon. Night in a hotel

DAY 4 : ANDASIBE – ANTSIRABE (SOUTH)
A six-hour drive (with stops of course) along the Route Nationale 7 will take us to Antsirabe. It is the capital of the pousse pousse, a type of rickshaw, brightly colored and operating solely on manpower. This charming town has some beautiful historical colonial buildings, which make it the perfect place for a stop-over on our way to the south. Night in a hotel


DAY 5 : ANTSIRABE

After breakfast you’ll be heading for a delightful crater lake called Tritriva in the neighborhood. You will explore the area and enjoy the jumps on our mountain bikes for an amazing ride in the countryside. A trip you won’t forget easily because of the easy going encounters with the locals who will gladly pose for your pictures. In the afternoon there’s still time to wander around in the streets of Antsirabe. Night in a hotel


DAY 6 : ANTSIRABE – AMBALAVAO

Today you proceed on the Route Nationale until you reach Ambalavao known as the capital of wine. It’s highly enjoyable to ramble around in the streets of this fairy tale town. You can also visit a local Antemoro paper workshop. Night in a hotel

DAY 7 : AMBALAVO – ANDRINGITRA
Madagascar is divided in two parts by a high mountain ridge in the middle of which the Andringitra Mountains are situated. The east side is very green and lush thanks to the influence of the Indian Ocean. The west side is dry and hot because of the winds arriving from Africa. Night in a cottage


DAY 8 : ANDRINGITRA
You will go exploring the mountains in the company of an experienced local mountain guide. You can choose between easy, average or tougher walks. You will surely remember the panoramic views you will see here. Night in a hotel


DAY 9 : ANDRINGITRA – ISALO

On your way to Isalo you’ll stop in a small local natural reserve ANJA. You’ll take a short walk to go spot common ring-tailed lemurs. Night in a hotel.

DAY 10 : ISALO
Experts agree Isalo is the most impressive park in the south of this beautiful island. Today you will spend all day exploring this park with its waterfalls, natural swimming pools and adventurous canyons. In the midst of this wilderness you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch pampered by playing ring-tailed and red fronted brown lemurs. Night in a hotel


DAY 11 : ISALO – IFATY
After lunchtime you will arrive in Ifaty passing by Toliara, big city situated along the Mozambique Channel. You will spend two nights in a highly comfortable hotel, a good place to relax after such long adventure. Night in a hotel


DAY 12 : IFATY

This optional day is driven by your choice. Either you relax at the beach in front of your room enjoy reading books or opting for activities like: snorkeling, diving, biking, and quad-biking. Night in a hotel


DAY 12 : IFATY – ANTANANARIVO
A one-hour flight takes you back to the capital where you’ll spend the night in the same hotel you did the first night or take a night flight back home. In the afternoon you can explore the capital with its bustling Avenue de l’independance and local markets.
